QUINTA-FEIRA É DIA DE OXÓSSI 🏹🌿

Okê Arô, Oxóssi!
Thursday is the weekday for Oxóssi in candomblé traditions.

Oxóssi is the orixá associated with hunting, protection of the forests and abundance. He holds all the wisdoms of the “matas🌿”, of the animals and healing. He is known by his patience and precise movements. He is the protector of the Caboclos and Caboclas.

Caboclas & Caboclos are the spirits of indigenous folks rooted in deep ancestral wisdom and guidance. They are entities who remind us the importance of rituals and of the elements of respect, simplicity, calmness and firmness in our lives and practices. They are healers and protectors.

Jurema is a Cabocla. Jurema is a tree. Jurema is also a religion. The tree is used in rituals and healing practices. Jurema is a sacred and hallucinogenic plant, often called the mother spirit, that contains DMT. Jurema sagrada is a religion mostly present in northeast Brasil, rooted in indigenous teachings of spiritual cleansing, physical and mental healing.
