COLETIVO BORA VADIAR
Our mission is to create and nurture safe, inclusive spaces for the practice and education of Capoeira, with a committed focus on accessibility, mobility, musicality, cultural respect, roots & traditions.
We are dedicated to fostering vibrant communities through the shared experience of Capoeira, preserving its rich traditions, and empowering individuals - particularly from marginalized groups - to learn, grow, and express themselves through this dynamic art form.
Our Coletivo is led by Professora Dinguêra, a Brazilian woman from São Paulo, Brasil, part of the LGBTQ+ community, and fully committed to actively standing up against any social oppression.
We are committed to learning the Portuguese language, deepening our understanding of social injustices and oppressions, and using Capoeira as a tool for both personal and collective transformation. By honoring the intersectionality of our identities, we aim to create opportunities for all to experience the power of the Afro-Indigenous art form of Capoeira while advocating for justice and equity.
